Now then, Cirrus,

there are a few human expressions that puzzle me!

'footie' is one of them!

Why should a group of apparently rational sentient beings attach so much importance to the relative positions of a piece of elastic material approximately 22 cm. in diameter, I find quite incomprehensible.

Let's face it, what's so exciting about this?



As for your comments, Cirrus, about attaching the male of the species to a sink, I find that most disturbing!

Whilst, the temporary confinement with chains or otherwise, to sinks or other domestic furniture elsewhere, might provide an added incentive, it needs to be used with care!

Surely, your very considerable personal charms added to your sparkling wit and good humour should be more than adequate to overcome any male resistance; which should be feeble, in the first place!

However, your comments re: the occasional encouragement are most useful.

Applied with care and discretion, those should be quite helpful.

But I do use these methods with care, I loosen his collar before he goes to bed most nights.

There is only one point in your post that needs answering.

Not for my benefit, nor yours, but for the benefit of any males attached to any female human that might be reading this post.

That point is numbered 1, for precision in response.

1. My washing-up skills, like any other skill, are forever being refined further.

The current state I have reached is this:

(a) Arrange glassware, crockery and cutlery in order of size, most fragile first, largest second;

(b) Pre-wash, using clinically clean brush, with tap water, pre-heated to 60 deg. Celsius.

(c) Apply suitable liquid detergent, with suitable polyurethane foam material with abrasive surface on one end. Fairy Liquid and sponge from Lidl at 8p each http://www.which.co.uk/files/application/pdf/p66-67_dishcloths-445-107081.pdf are suitable examples.



(d) rinse with hand-hot water, approx 45 deg Celsius.

(e) Stand on clinically clean dish drainer to drain and dry

(f) when dry, store in desired location.

That should do it.

Tea towels are fine, although 900 thread count Egyptian Cotton ones are increasingly difficult to find.

However, there are other and more pleasurable methods of drying crockery.

A little experimentation should yield the most appropriate one.

Too true. I really loathe the "Prince" or "Princess" on board stickers - they're gut churning in the extreme. I can just about live with "baby on board" stuff but Princess ??? Yuk.

I also hate drivers who, when turning right at a junction or right into another road, don't keep next to the central line - they just sit in the middle of the road with their indicator light on. This means that peeps who want to go straight ahead or turn left can't get past them. I was always taught this when i learned to drive - don't they do it any more ?

transfer (e.g. tea towels)
warm air and
freeze drying (as in refrigerator)

I once convinced a boyfriend that I found a man washing up a huge turn on so he washed up all the time for me (did help that he was lovely too). Unfortunately he rumbled me but it was good while it lasted.

I'd like to put those people who pull out in front of you at a T junction with a screech of wheels (even though there is nothing behind you) only to trundle along and slow you down when they could have waited for you to go past and not be in your way in room 101!

I don't know what the secret is but I always seem to attract men who like cooking - it could be that I tell them I don't enjoy cooking or that I have a tendency to burn it (I can only cook things that can either be left alone for hours or need stirring constantly so I can't leave them or I get distracted and they burn). I don't mind prepping veggies & stuff it's just the actual putting it together where I lose interest. It could be that my kitchen always looks like an experiment for a cure is going on so perhaps they prefer to do the cooking ...

I'd actually like to put my kitchen in room 101 come to think of it!
