Hey! An open question to see if anyone can pass on some expert tips here…

From my limited experience with semi-legit massages, I’ve paid the door fee at the front desk or in the room before I undress, and then on the turnover when I’m all teased-up that’s when the attendant would ask how much I want to tip and the ‘negotiation’ would begin. Thing is, at this point I find it such a buzz kill to put a pause on the fun to talk about tipping. I’d much rather just let it flow at that point.

So question for the experienced folk. Is there a different way you’d approach this to get a better experience? Would you be pro-active and offer a tip up-front when you pay the door fee? Any other options?

They purposefully bring up the fees at this point because they know men will agree to things when all worked up or just to avoid the buzzkill.

In my experience:

- You can try asking before it gets to that point their rates for extras.
- If you're on a budget, go in with a max price and find out what service you can get for it.
- Negotiate it but risk getting poor service (they also typically don't like negotiating).
- Go through this process once with an MP and on repeats you don't need to go through the awkward conversation again.

First time with someone is different from a regular.
Sure there are options, but why not make both of you comfortable by being clear about what you want and asking what her price is? Don't be shy.
You should have already done your homework about what the spa offers and going rates at most places for the services you want. I would pay upfront at least the door fee and have agreed for the extras charge.
If she's overcharging because she smells a Newb, then don't argue. Suck it up or put your shoes back on and leave.
And if after you feel you didn't get what you asked for don't go back.

With a new person I prefer to pay up front. It can be awkward, but I like to get the money and service questions settled before a session begins. Also, by having the conversation before a session begins you can see if you like the person and can work with them. And if you do not see eye to eye then you can ask for another MPA or just leave. If the service exceeds my expectations I might add a little more at the end. On subsequent visits when trust has been established, money is rarely discussed.

Do your homework and make sure the place is reputable.
If you're not happy you can talk to Mamasan after but that's kind of awkward too, but you do have recourse.
If you just pay the door fee first then she has to perform what you agreed to for the tip so you're not necessarily paying all up front.
Tbh I think you might be reading too much into it. Most places are pretty good and the shitty ones are kind of well known too.
Don't forget, it eases both your minds. Plenty of times these girls get ripped off by cheap motherfuckers.
If you go in to a place you have never heard of then your risk is higher.

That often happens and is the reason a lot of MPAs do not get repeat business. But if you read reviews, and explore a lot, it is an adventure, and eventually you find SWs you are compatible with.

I always pay upfront for any MPA, regardless if they are new or a regular, I think it shows them that I am a good customer and won't rip them off like some of their other past customers, and I usually get good service in return.

If you start a session well without the MPA thinking you might not pay them or rip them off like some of the degenerate members who read this forum, then she doesn't have to worry much about it in the back of her mind and then focus on you instead.

The ones who pull that shit see you as a one time customer. Opt for a basic finish. If you decide to return then by all means go ahead and see if you get treated differently next time.

My personal philosophy is never repeat if tips are discussed in advance and never repeat if phone numbers or WeChats aren’t exchanged. To each his own.
