SRM - Customer Service?

I have been to SRM a number of times and thought it was top rank along with HFH, Allure & IT.

I was coming to Toronto on Thursday and checked the SRM schedule which came out on the previous Friday. Much to my delight Sophie was on whom I had never seen but was on my hit list solely because of the outstanding reviews she receives on this board.

I called Friday morning and asked for an appointment with Sophie the following Thursday. Since the schedule had just come out that morning I thought I would be in, with almost a week to think of the delights of Sophie that would follow. I was told by the lady who answered the phone that they couldn't make an appointment for the following Thursday because the appointment book pages didn't go that far and I should call back tomorrow (Sat.). OK, I called Saturday morning and was told that only a Manager could make an appointment for Sophie and that I would have to call back on Monday. OK, I called Monday at 4:30 pm and was told there would not be a manager in until Tuesday and I should call back then. OK, Tuesday @ 10:15 am I call and guess what - Sophie is now fully booked! I ask to speak to Joy and tell her exactly what is set out above. She says that she wasn't in on Friday when I was told the appointment book didn't go as far as the next 7 days but in any case Sophie is now fully booked and she is sorry.

This is not the end of the world, there are some other great ladies I can see instead and with apologies in advance to Fuzzy Thumper, maybe Sophie has been overhyped anyways. But I do think my treatment was kind of wierd for a place that is considered first class and I don't think I will bother with them in future.

Hey Ron:

Unfortunately you chose the ONE girl at SRM who's very difficult to book an appt with. Sophie only works a couple of shifts per week and has many loyal repeat clients...

By a fluke, I was able to see Sophie in August, and would love a follow up session, but I guess "a wristband policy is in effect". LOL

Also, while YOU seem to be a reliable type of guy, many clients are not unfortunately. I agree with Mitch's comments above and that happens VERY regularly...

The last thing to keep in mind is that the MP business is a little "different" anyway. I tried to book a session with Electra last Friday night, only to be told to come back in an hour coz she was arriving late. She never arrived, so I saw another MPA instead... This was the THIRD such noshow by Electra...

The only advice I have WRT SRM or any other MP is to have Plans "A & B" and call on the day you arrive to confirm who's actually working.

No no no no no. Don't do that.

Well, ok - do that if you want to (no real fur off my nose)... but you gotta understand: Sophie is ALWAYS booked (and that ain't on account of one bunny's tales). ALWAYS. Even God himself can't help you with that, so there ain't no point getting mad at the folk there....

What you want to do is TALK TO (and be NICE to) JOY. Trust me, as long as you aren't a jackass, this wonderful lady will do everything she can to help you, one way or another. She may not be able to get you one of THOSE precious spots at any given time (remember, not even God...), but she's a fantastic woman who tries very hard to make all of her customers happy, and she has many other tricks up her sleeve (and lovely ladies down the hall)....

I have to give credit where credit is due.

Joy Pm'd a few days ago and did everything she could to rectify this situation. I applaud her and SRM for living up to their reputation as a first class MP and will continue to enjoy their great facility.

When someone is as popular as Sophie you can't help but have schedule problems.

Sophie is a gem among gems. I will go more often to SRM just because of Sophie.

But her schedule must be a headache for the management. Joy is doing a fantastic job given the circumstances. Everybody needs to be a little more understanding of how difficult it is to manage someone like Sophie.

Lets all be a little more tolerant of the new receptionist as well. She is learning and will get better with time. I find this to be the norm with SRM MPAs as well. If you can't improve your service, move on to another MP.

With all this bitching about the new receptionist, how is Joy supposed to rest!! She is working a double shift now because she is worried that her clients (us) are not getting the best service.

If you like Joy, be a bit more understanding and a bit more tolerant. She has been so nice to us over the years that I think she deserves it.

i had an appointment last thursday with sophie. when i got there she said her last apointment was a no show.

anyway i did have a good time but feel she is a little over hyped and didn't quite live up to my expectations.

i've had much better service with leah at allure as well as with monique at escape on kennedy rd. escape reminds of of the good old days wit keyla at sun set spa!
