Review Rose in RD - mixed signals

I tried posting this last night via my phone but for some reason it never posted. Go figure. So here we go again. And since there is no Red Deer sub-forum, I'm posting this in the Edmonton forum.

I've lurked here for quite a while gleaning great info, so with my first post I figured I should also provide a review.

Yesterday on my way through Red Deer, I called ahead and booked with Rose's Chinese Massage. After reading a few comments around here, it seems Rose's checked the boxes I was looking for.

When I arrived, she was the only one there and the rooms were empty. My options were open. The place is clean, organized and I saw clean towels on the tables in all rooms. Rose is easy to chat with and very friendly. Initially I was interested in just an hour, but I went for 90 min since the place was empty and Rose gave me a nice, friendly vibe. Rose has been around for 9 years and knows how to massage. Her hands move quickly but when I asked for a deep massage she easily got to work. I thought with the fast movements, that I would get my time cut, but she went the full 90 minutes so I definitely got more massage for the money given her rapid movements. All good there.

After working the back and shoulders, she moved down to the legs and kneaded them very well. By the time she worked up to the upper thigh, her well-oiled fingers were frequently grazing the berries between the legs. Things were looking up. And these weren't accidental grazings. Deliberate and frequent over about 15 or 20 minutes. I got the feeling she was gauging my reaction. I reacted warmly you might say and I was looking forward to the flip.

After the flip, she worked the legs some more but with the towel draped across the half that she wasn't working. However, not once did she come close to the happy zone. She finished with a very good foot massage, but I was left a little confused and disappointed with the mixed signals between pre-flip and post-flip. Perhaps because this was my first time she was testing the waters with me. I didn't notice until I was dressing, there was a sign on the back of the room door stating that any suggestion or hints of "erotic massage" would result in ending the session. So again, mixed messages, though the sign may be more for "official" purposes.

Overall, the massage was 8/10 and I would probably return to see if Rose opens up on a return visit, but the mixed signals were confusing.

The signs are commonplace. (To cover their ass, and maybe yours.) What makes the place you went to, stand out...is telling someone they will be asked to leave...if they ask. So, they shouldn't be making that much personal contact, if their sign really means what it says.

With respect to the sign, in comparison, I own a treadmill, does not mean I use it, but it does portray a modicum of health! Right?

After the flip, my approach in a situation such as this is to politely ask if anything else is available. Typically you'll get a straight forward answer. If the request is denied, I've never been subject to consternation from the provider, either it's a green light, or a simple no. They've probably been asked many times before....

Thanks for all the feedback and comments. I'm generally not that hesitant, and I agree the signs are more for show in most places, but the massage itself was going very well so I didn't want to force the issue as a first timer with her. Almost every other place I've been the offer has been put out there. I'm a patient fella and I believe the masseuses do appreciate the repeat clients and will offer to those who they are comfortable with. It's all give and take to some degree.

I might also add: "erotic massage" could be defined as a massage that might involve touching and/or states of undress when it comes to the massage provider. There are asian and non-asian massage spas in European and Asian countries that are considered "legit", even though they might provide "lingam/prostate" massage for men and/or "yoni" massage for women. As a "Non-Erotic" spa, the client would be not be allowed to touch the masseuse. If the client did, he or she would likely be asked to leave, and would not receive a refund of any kind.

Knot you were on the highway and she was giving the signals! Lift up while on your stomach and Rose gives an amazing uhhhh..... massage to the LG which will have you leaving happy (similar to that girl at LaBella) can’t remember her name). Be polite, respectful and leave a nice tip (2 green) and you will enjoy your time. I usually book for half hour just due to my schedule. Rose is very pleasant and professional. The signs are there to cover butts.

An update: I did manage to make my way to RD again this week and spent an hour with Rose. The massage was just as good as before with the same blatant teasing and fondling while on the front. We had a good rapport going and on the flip she teased again and played the shy and surprised face when she found me ready and willing. With a moment of encouragement and some laughs she took the hint and I left a happy customer. Rose is a fine lady and provides a pretty good deep massage if you want it. I'm sure I will be back when I'm in the area again.
