In this case I found a really really good legit Thai massage place. I went today for the second time.

Patti, the owner, and person I see, is certified with a Thai masseuse qualification, but more impressively with both a certification for Thai Medical Massage and Instruction and a National Certificate in Thai Bodywork. Honestly, she gives the best legit massages I have ever had.

No Unicorn but definitely a place to remember and try when you want to.

Don't go here if you are looking for a fancy spa. Don't go here if you are looking for eye candy. Don't go here if you are looking to just walk in, you will need to book in advance or there might not be anyone there. Don't go here if you are looking for teasing. Don't go here if you are looking for extra's.

Do go here if you have any type of ache or pain. I would even go here if I was sick... she is essentially a doctor of eastern medicines. Do go here if you are looking for value for money.

Parking on Bloor is a PITA during the work week. If you go on Sunday you can park behind the building for free and walk up the fire escape to access the entrance.

Be warned, the place is small and really basic but super clean. She will make you dress in a freshly washed set of Thai massage pajama things.

She can advise you on holistic (non-prescription) stuff you should try to fix whatever problem you have. Physical problem that is

Actually, she probably has a remedy for the mental problems all us Massage Planet guys have. I was too scared to ask

Does she accept insurance considering it is legit ? Any RMTs there ?

Her qualifications are probably better than Canadian RMT but because she is not an RMT I don't think you can claim Insurance. We started to discuss this the first time I went but I forgot to check again.

If you go or contact her can you check this is correct and tell us in here?

I offered a cash tip and she said not to worry. That was nice.

I used to go to a Thai place up the street, was above a Thai restaurant and just west of Runnymede on the south side of bloor. The interior looked much the same as this place. My masseuse was named Sami. Not "pretty", but sexy in a Thai way. She was tall for a Thai and delicately feminine. As I've been to Thailand many times, we had a good time testing my vocab while she massaged me and I enjoyed the sessions. One day I saw her and her bosses at the Ex in the Better Living building where they had a station advertising their massage service. Not sure why, but the different setting, running into here there...changed things...and that night we fucked. Was quite the thrill...with the whole "legit taboo" thing hanging in the air. Her bosses knew we got together. but they were cool with it as it did not happen in their studio. We saw each other off and on and until she returned to the blessed land. So you never know...

Awesome. Lucky bastard. I think many of us dream of the legit taboo thing. I know I do.

Pretty sure it is not the same massage place as I reviewed here but, as you say, you never know.
