near 6th and 10th - Burnaby

I'm new to this board and from out of town. I tried a place in Burnaby a couple of times...it is in a small little plaza, has a variety store and a salon which offers haircut, and has a massage area with a few rooms. Cheap prices, if I recall about $45/hour. I hope this is enough description for the locals to figure out the place I'm describing. (sorry I forgot the name of it).

Went there once about a year ago and a second time in this spring. First visit was a young girl (dark skin), and was very enthusiastic, offering very sensual massage, plenty of teasing and a HJ but no topless - she said she wanted to get a boob-job first. In the spring I went back there but she was gone. The new lady, was little bit heavy, very kind personaility. She massaged me while I was fully nude, but there was not teasing and I did not request any special attention.

Can anyone identify this place and update what they've experienced, current offerings, etc. Thanks.

This is hairloom. It has changed to new ownership and I was told that no massage/extras were offered, just hair styling alone.

Next time, when you are in town, pay a visit and report back.

A little further up on 10th ave there is a new place called Amielias spa ? my spelling may be wrong on the name. It is in the Crest Plaza by langely and 10th. Looks legit but mabey there are extras.

The one at 10th Ave used to be Carnation spa which has extras but it has taken over by the adjacent hair salon shop. The boss is a Russian woman and the massage server is a caucasan. Spoken with an Asian lady there but she said she only do nails.

Haven't tried but I think there is extras. Would someone please report back.

Spoke with someone who used to provide "extras" at hairloom and she informed me that the reason why they took away the massage part was because the owner was trying to use one license for two places... the on one twelfth. From what I hear she still owns it, but just doesn't have the xtras. but she may have sold the one on twelfth. I've heard other things too regarding ownership so not sure on that part.

As far as the place in Crest Plaza goes, that was a great little place. I went in there for a cheap R&T and found that the place next door took over. The one who provides massage looked pretty good so I thought I'd give it a shot. Went with the half-hour option. the girl doing the massage turned out to be her first day, and they were pretty unorganized as she said that they've had it for a month and was working on trying to figure things out. I was even the massage girls first client. She did a pretty decent job, but had been out of the field for a while as she's had a kid I believe. her massage skills were pretty good. she is trained so it wasn't completely laim. but they just need to get their stuff together there, then we'll see about extras... I don't see how they'll do too well if they don't IMO.

Thanks for the warning. I know the owner of the adjacent shop. Not Ruassian
but is from Iran. I doubt that they provide extras. She is the reason I never tried Carnation. I believe Carnation gave up doing the massage quite awile ago.

this is to confirm what richmann has said. Carnation has closed. The hair salon next door has taken over the lease, and are operating , as always, just a hair salon with mostly women clients, but they will do mens hair as well. The owner is Iranain, she has hired an esthtican(spelling), and all they do is hair and nails.

It sounds as though these places are under transition and the timing might not be right for me, i.e. I will be there next week. Since I'm from out of town (and was only aware of Hairloom until this thread), I would like to ask for clarification...Hairloom is still open and currently there is massage without options and the Crest Plaza location is the same profile, that is massage without options. Carnation is closed. Do I have this right? Thanks.
