Moon Bar Update?

About to make my return to Patong from a 6 mo haitus due to the health problems of a friend in Surin! A bit out of touch and I heard on disurbing piece of info from a punter. Moon bar Soi Bangla??? Most know ole Moon from her days on Sea Pearl with the corner bar, moving to Bangla Road across from the entrance to Soi Eric and her various nit noi joints at OTOP and the small soi for clothes and mobiles near the Subway on 2nd road etc.
After the Big T she bough into the new Sea Pearl with one of those Tsunami loans etc. Well, I hear that the long time employee, a gay blade gent, and another previous employee who was quite the flamer, known as Pop Korn, are now the owners of the Bangla spot. Any info and has it gone gay? That would be a change as to be the first gay bay on Bangla Road and pretty much the first one out of Soi Paradise!

Any info?

Did not know that they had bought the place....they been there for years...was there in March,May this year and it definitely was not gay....girls friendly,not many stunners... maybe wrong but dont think a gay bar will work on the Bangla rd...what do other bm think?

i was walking down Bangla one arvo' back in Sept this year & it started raining it was about 2pm, so if getting out of rain i may as well have a beer, the male bar staff were definetly gay ( not that there's anything wrong with that- says Seinfeld anyway) & think they said they were owners, there were girls working in there, so dont think it is a gar bar, just openly gay male staff, the were a few girls there not many , maybe too early for others to start?

Moon Bar still open and has girls.Sometimes the LB come across from Crocodile to use the toilets but don't hang out there.h:

well the moon bar definately hasnt gone gay i was there in october and yes they have some staff that are guys and definately gay everyone knows popcorn if you meet him you will know but hes no threat and there would be over 20 girls there easily spent 15 days with a girl there so i ts not gay

I don't think Moon Bar is sold. Moon is not staying there much as she is busy with other projects (and had her share of bars and drinking). I offered her a very good price for the bar about 1 year ago, but it was no way she would sell.......

The gay staff is nice enough, but I'm quite sure they would make more profit with GIRLS..............

got my first girl from moonbar a couple of weeks back and she definitely didnt have extras!
theres a couple of gay lads who work in there but as has been said previously not a threat.
i was actually quite up for barfining the girl who works behind the bar(her name is IM i think) but that was after already bf'ing the other girl and was told not smart to take 2 from same bar,well certainly not on corresponding nights anyway! 1 rule i must remember for next time,dont take the first one that shows an interest!
