No, I won’t give him a break. As the Admin he should be monitoring this site. My beef with him is when fucking racists like DietWoke (or whatever he changed his handle to now) posts Nazi images and makes posts supporting genocide (the Holocaust), and killing Jews, he just sits on his ass not doing anything. And by not stopping it, he is therefore either: 1) incompetent and an absentee landlord; or 2) he is actually supporting hate speech.

The Canadian Criminal Code has sections relating to Hate Speech. While these laws are generally geared toward individuals, this doesn’t mean they can’t be extended to online communities supporting them because laws do evolve. Is law enforcement monitoring this site? Sure they are. Mainly for information on human trafficking or drug use but seeing hate speech won’t escape their attention either. Worst case scenario is that if hate speech flourish’s, law enforcement could shut down this board for promoting it. Then where will we go for reviews? Back to Terb? Sure, the risk is low but it’s the principle that matters.

I’m not advocating a Terb like Admin level of oversight when posting a bad review might get you banned. But, hate speech crosses a line, one that even basic or casual Admin oversight should have already put a stop to. But it continues, so I’m going to call the Admin out as it continues and even proliferates.

Just to set the record straight, I am not Jewish. I just detest racism in all forms, against all groups, and there is just too much of it going unchecked by the one guy who’s job (he’s getting paid) is to keep it in check. Especially judging by his previous posts on the subject Admin believes it's a greater good not to moderate, and that's obviously the case even when it comes to straight up hate speech, blatant racism, and misogyny to the point where guys are now openly posting about murdering rape victims and putting their bodies in trunks. Priorities. And the problem is it makes the website more of a magnet for the haters and whackos rather than a community to discuss the sex biz, which is ostensibly what this website is supposed to be about.

Free speech should be protected and people can self-police but up to a certain point. We simply do not have the power to do anything more than object to or ignore these kinds of comments. The Admin can shut them down and keep this site what it is claiming to be.

I wonder if the advertisers who pay good money for a presence here are fully aware of what their money is used to support.
