now there is an oxymoron if I ever heard one. For those of us that have been around for the past ten years we have watched the price increase from $140 to $300 for basically FS or this thing called sGFE. That is an increase of 114% over 10 years. Significantly higher than the Alberta CPI.

In addition, Parlour politics have made the experience at the MP very mechanical and full of drama. The Asian Invasion has provided an alternative that is not acceptable to most of us; consequently, the number of visits at the MP has significantly decreased and will continue to decline even when the Economy is better because there is a lack of value perception - reality, in that environment.

I have no issue with any SP charging any amount she chooses; however, please don't use the Industry Standard "card" as the reason. I see rewarding Outcall SP's all accross Canada for a standard tip of $250 or less and only pay more when the SP is exceptional or the experience is mind-blowing.

The inflation at the MP is changing the business and many MP's are in decline and financial difficulty. When an Outcall SP can spend the time to come to you and get to her next date, provide the same or better service and still charge less than an Incall SP, there is a MP problem!!

I agree 100% with you on that one. The MP rates have gotten out of control in this city over the years, and in most cases the service levels have stayed the same or gotten worse despite this big price hike.

Both you and Trawler have it the nail on the head. In my opinion the local MP industry is so desperate for girls right now due to supply and demand, that they will hire just about anyone who passes police clearance. And with the influx of younger girls who basically see this profession as easy money, service levels have dropped and prices have increased. I will always disagree with MP policy that all girls have to charge the same amount. Why should an SP who goes through the motions and doesn't really want to be there, demand the same as a co-worker who is on the top of her game and continually gets repeat business?
That is what's so nice about seeing local indies or visiting SPs. They know what they can command according to their menus and their talents, and generally want your return business.

Sorry my dear but there's too many holes in your argument. First off a local indy has to pay over $2000 for an escort license, whereas an MP girl has to pay a mere $97. An indy also has to pay for an incall location which could run up to $1500 a month for a nice location. And that's not counting all the other extra expenses such as utilities, toiletries and anything else needed to make the client comfortable. An MP girl has EVERYTHING provided for her. If an indy does outcalls she also has to pay for a driver. She also has to be available at all different hours throughout the week, plus put up with clients who sometimes are not the most desirable. All an MP girl has to do is show up for a six hour shift in the safety of a studio, and many have a hard time doing that.

As for guys always picking the MP girl who is the cheapest, I would strongly disagree. I believe most clients would stay with the lady who most appeals to him and his needs, despite the opportunity of saving a few dollars.
So called Industry Standards are nothing more than a reason for slackers to command the same dollar amount as girls who truly deserve what they get paid, and who bring in business to the studios.
