I think LazyBoy from this forum would be a good deterrent - HA HA - give the man some freebies!

The freebie idea is not as crazy as it sounds. How much do we normally pay for a session...$120? $130? I'm sure they can find a couple of guys that will man the front desk for 4 hours each in exchange for a freebie (you shouldn't need anyone in the morning). This works out to $30+ per hour (cash, no tax) for pretty simple work. And the freebie would be happening during their downtime anyways so no lost in revenue...

Maybe my Gwailo eyes are failing or unable to make a distinction among Asian faces, but based on those images,
I’ve seen them every time I go to Pacific Mall, T&T, every asian restaurant, Scarborough, Markham.

So my question to the Asians on here, Based on those photos, could they really be identified.? To me, they look kinda generic asian face.

majority of the customers are over 30+. Rarely do you get people fin their 20s to visit spa.

Couple that with a gossipy or devious lady, the sky's the limit as to who's seen you come and go.

Legit places should be careful though. They could lose their license for violating confidential client information.

Anyways, these spas shouldn't be leaving money laying around. The money should be deposited into a hidden safe after each customer.

Well lit entrances with visible use of several security cameras are the best deterrent to trouble makers and amateur criminals.
Nothing will deter a seasoned pro.

There was an incident with black guys last year (I saw the pics from a fave) but TBH, I don't remember it being discussed here...could be wrong though.

If they knew what they were doing. They would hit the boss who leaves at late afternoon/early evening to do a money drop at the local bank or for the ones that own multiple joints when they come in around 8-10pm ish to pick up the days cash.

I agree, it’s important for the owners to realize that this crime should be reported for the good of all, including the safety of their employees and clients.
If it’s a cultural thing for their fear of reporting, they need to get over it. As business owners, they are part of society, and need to take on that responsibility to ensure the community is free of criminals. It will still be full of horny clients, but that can be tolerated.

The Chinese community stays within it self. Authorities at all levels turn a blind eye. That’s why spas keep running and Chinese on Chinese crime never makes its way to the 6 o’clock news.
