The fact of the matter is, this issue of the brown face photos will likely receive more attention and focus then the SNC Lavalin scandal.

I’m no fan of Trudeau but the brown face photos only prove Trudeau was once young and foolish. I don’t believe it means he’s racist or he’s unfit to lead. I’m sure we all have recollections of stupid or foolish things we did in our youth.

However on the other hand, the SNC Lavalin affair is a very serious breach of the public trust. Trudeau and his inner circle opted for political expediency and a deferred prosecution agreement (basically a slap on the wrist), which would mean more jobs and ultimately more votes in Quebec, instead of upholding the laws of this country.

You can decide, which of these incidents deserves to receive more attention and focus however I’m sure in reality, during this election campaign, the brown face photos will eclipse the attention and focus given to the Lavalin scandal. Sad but true.

Well said again. The society nowadays is fucked up with political correctness and gossipy social media. If I were Justin, I will just say it was just for fun in his younger days. He was young and care free and it only happened on 3 occasions that he is currently willing to apologize and take responsibility for and yet two days ago he was apologizing and taking responsibility for only 2 occasions. I hate Justin Trudeau, the federal Liberals, and the provincial Liberals. But get your facts straight before you shoot your mouth off. The GST was created by Brian Mulroney who was the leader of the old Progressive Conservative Party, before the party was merged with the Canadian Alliance Party, (which was the former Reform Party) which created the new Conservative Party. The creation of the GST had nothing to do with the Liberal Party. In fact, when Jean Creatian was campagning to become Prime Minister as the Liberal Party leader, he promised to scrap the GST. Then after he got elected, he completely changed his mind. One of his reasons was because the GST was a revenue neutral tax. When the GST became law, the Manufacturer's sales tax (which was a hidden tax) was eliminated. The GST is actually a fairer tax than the Manufacturer's tax. The Manufacturer's tax only applied to products made in Canada, so it made Canadian made products more expensive than foreign made products. Also, because the Manufacturer's tax was hidden into the price of the product, no one ever knew they were paying it when they were purchasing the product. So the GST was applied to virtually all products regardless what country the product came from at half the rate of the Manufacturers tax.
So, when Prime Minister Steven Harper (leader of the new Conservative Party) lowered the GST by 2 percentage points, the Liberal Party went ballistic over it. They claimed it would bankrupt the country. Well heck, it was the Liberal Party who wanted to scrap the GST, now they're saying, lowering it by 2 points will bankrupt the country? How does that make sense?

Concerning the Carbon tax we now pay at the pumps, Trudeau never mentioned this new tax during his election campaign of 2015. He never received a mandate for this action. So, in all fairness, when the people voted for the Liberals in 2015, they never knew this was coming.

But don't misunderstand me. I have absolutely no fondness for Justin Trudeau.
