I have been to Russia 5 times. I have been to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-na-Donu, Novosibirsk, and about 15 other cities. In all of these cities, you cannot find working girls by trolling the streets, per se.

In Moscow, you can find English speaking girls in the classified section of the Moscow Times. In other cities, girls can be found in EVERY hotel and most nightclubs.

You really shouldn't have to pay more than $50-70USD for a night's worth of entertainment. And in many cases, girls can be picked up in nightclubs for just a tip and a cab ride. And I am talking about high quality girls, too. Higher end hotels in Moscow/St. Pete have higher prices, much closer to their American counterparts. If possible, try to avoid a hotel entirely and rent an apartment instead. In most Russian cities, it is possible to rent an apartment Reviewom $15 to $50 a day.

Language shouldn't be much of a barrier in the nightclubs. A pocket dictionary should be sufficient. Once a girl recognizes you as American, she'll be on you like stink on shit.

Just go outside Moscow. If you look in the newspaper 'iz Ruk v Ruki' in a smaller city like Kazan or Chebokshary, you can find rooms for let for 500 rubles per night or less, and the girls are about 500 rubles per hour Reviewom the agencies. I'll try to explain Russia/Ukraine pricing, at least my take on it.

Well, to fully understand, you'd first have to understand the overall economies of these countries. I won't bother with that, other than to say that they aren't run of the mill third world countries - there is lots of wealth. Moscow is one of the top 10 most expensive cities in the world, for example.

Anyway - the girls that are over $100/night are the cream of the crop, and are located in the expensive bars/clubs in the expensive parts of town - equivalents to our Manhattan. They are the most beautiful, and educated.

Another thing to understand is that they choose low volume, high profits over high volume - these are students and the like, usually, not the 5 guy per night street hookers found on the streets of inner city U.S. These girls may only end up with one client per week - which, at their prices, results in a decent living, by their standards.

Lastly, there are lower price girls - $30 or so - but they are targeted more towards local clientelle (russian speaking). You'd have to spend some time in country, and speak the language, to figure out how to track them down. Some posters here (including me , have done that.
