I am going to be in SH last weekend of the month July 30th and 31st. I didn't realize this expo last so long. Couple of things:

1. Suggestions for girl friendly nice hotel that isn't too far from the action. Manhattan's is what I enjoyed a couple of years ago; and Malones. Also, a hotel that isn't affected by what I assume will be more than average congestion from the expo.

2. Anyone want to meet up that weekend PM me. Especially if you speak english well. I am traveling all over China and I am sure I would like to have someone speaking my native language over a beer.

Also Zapattas is a blast. There is a very tall beautiful Chinese tequila girl there (can't remember her name) but she speaks great English who is super cool and did I mention fucking beautiful! Lots of expats, drinking, some WGs and of course it is a Mexican bar and everyone know that mexican bars bring out the fun! There Are definitely girls to go home with there. Let's be honest anywherenthere are foreigners or out of town businessmen there are girls to go home with. That is a universal law around the world.

Recently returned from Shanghai and I can tell you that everything at the bars was the usual. Manhattans was packed 10:1 ratio. I actually went with a Chinese girl who is my friend and not a WG and I was stilled mobbed the FL's didn't care! I stayed in Pudong in Shangri-la and had no problem bring a friend up for a drink even at 2am. i wasn't even stopped. I had a girl who I know I can call at any hour for a booty call and she came and brought a friend. Front desk just asked her to show ID. I didn't get a call to do the walk of shame and it was late like 1 am. I've been going to Shanghai for years and it has changed but I think for the better. I don't speak Chinese (although I guess I should but give me a break I learned english As spanish is my native tongue). I'm also on the young side of 30. If any of you other want to grab a pint and see the city let me know when you are headed that way. I will stay away until the damn heat goes away but Im up for sept.

It's a traditional Chinese megaclub...but more glitzy than dark..but always loud. There is a bunch of them in China. The FLs are typically the same ones you will find at Manhattan...literally. If prospects are not promising at Manhattan, the Chinese FLs move on...to here or to Dragon.

Address: 位于富民路291号悟锦大厦2楼(近长乐路) (Fumin Lu/Changle Lu)...not too far from the MT club on Huaihai lu.

Since 88 club opened, it has been packed. A good looking new club...just like JJ club. Noticed more and more FLs heading to the bar area of this club...maybe another option.

HA HA from reading this board is seems like we all may need some tissues as the monger outlets are becoming fewer and the demand is increasing.

Actually, in China I perfer the spa type places and have never used a freelancer from a bar or club. I have only had a few girls in my room and that was more the exception than the rule. Since the chinese language thing is a barrier for me, I am not sure I want the girl around all night anyway. So with the spas I can just cum and then go. A perfect arrangement for me.

It's funny, but in Thailand my preference is the opposite, I go for the Freelancers in the nightclubs (but the ones I have picked all spoke good english) and avoided the spa's (the spas in Patong Beach Phuket did not look clean - although I never bothered to venture inside to find out).

But with all the posts on this board and my new found love for filipina girls, I think I will have to try out Manhattans at least once on my next trip.

OK...here is my FR on the scene in Shanghai with 1 week to go before the Expo officially opens. I've spend the last 3 nights barhopping in the neighborhood of Manhattans.

Malone's is rockin', but not necessarily with FLs. Went in there about 1AM last night and the place was PACKED with mostly an expat crowd, but I saw all but maybe 5 working girls??? But they all seemed to be busy with somebody. Decent band there on Friday night. Good place for a Burger and a few beers.

Big Bamboo (right next door to Manhattans) is also a good place for Burgers and they have an excellent variety of beers......German, Belgian, Australian, and the usual big names. Also have some decent import wines on the menu. Last night there was some big Canadian group (of like 100 people) in there to do with the expo. I guess there will be more and more expats frequenting these places now with the Expo in town and these are like some of the only places where you can pick up a good All-American meal like back home.

Now on to Manhattans.....sadly the expo is having a dramatic negative effect on both the supply of the girls and the demands from the expats. Went in there about midnight on Friday and it was a 1:1 ratio. Ideally for these situations, I like at least a 5:1 ratio. There were a few, but nothing I really liked. Last Night Saturday was even worse.....I think there were maybe 1.5 expats for every one girl....and there seemed to be fewer girls on Saturday than on Friday night. Sadly, I went back to the hotel empty-handed both nights as there just wan't anything to my liking. But today I approched the Bellman in my hotel about the hotel's massage services, and he was like "it's no sex massage. If you want sex massage, you let me know and I'll call-in for somebody come to your room no problem." So I think it's possible to get sex, but they are running a more discreet operation now with the expo.

If you are coming here just for the Sex vacation, you would be better off going to someplace like the Phils. or Thailand becuase I think you would be really disapointed in Shanghai at this juncture.

Fluky, you're not a million miles from the places you've mentioned - probably around 15 min's in a cab.

Unfortunately I think you're gonna be fucked (unfortunately for you, not literally) for bringing a girl back after 11 as Mark has mentioned in other posts. There are some places in Pudong where you can rent a room for a couple of hours but that isn't the same although if we meet for a beer I will take you to a few places where you can pick girls up and take them there after.

Until Expo opens then no one can say for absolute certainty how everything will pan out. It maybe that you will have to alter your punting schedule around the hours you can actually get a girl back.

So, the only other advice I can give is to swap your condoms for tissues as you will be needing them!!

Regarding the hotel thing...like I said in a previous comment, I live 20 mins walk from Manhattan, so no issue there...

Had no idea about the Filipina visa thing...hopefully it brings out more Chinese & Vietnamese...I find them more attractive anyway.

Right now things are normal... but extremely difficult for Filipino's to get new visa's... one girl I know went to Macau and paid 9000 rmb... others cannot get one... and almost no way for a "new" girl to get one in the Philippines right now... and trust me, the hotels will get more strict starting May 1
