I was down in Calgary visiting friends for the holidays and wanted to check somewhere out before I left town. I had seen another post on here mentioning Niko which got my attention. I phoned to inquire who was working and when I said it was my first time visiting I was told to come in and see the girls. I got into the place and was shown to a waiting room and asked to shower while I waited to see the girls. No one showed up and I was shown to one of the rooms and asked how long I wanted to stay and was asked for the room fee. I said that I wanted to see the girls and then give the money to whichever girl I chose. I was told to wait ten minutes. Honestly I probably should have just left, but you know what happens sometimes. Eventually a girl did show up and she was decent enough, I am unsure of her name because I didn't quite understand her. I gave her the money for the room fee and she went to give it to the mama-san. She returned and started to give a massage, it was a deep tissue which was pretty decent, then she inquired what else I would like and mentioned how much it would cost. For 3 browns she said any hole, I didn't bring that kind of money with me so I settled for a cheaper option. She had suggested I could get money out of their ATM which is the only other option I know of besides bringing the cash with you. While handing over the money she was peeking over my shoulder looking at my wallet to make sure I wasn't holding any back. Overall services were decent, but the upsell is a major turnoff. Always bring only what you are willing to spend and I personally will be staying away from AMPs for awhile.

Holy! 3 browns? That's crazy. That is over the top for pricing. Almost sounded like they tried to ice you out like a car dealership by making you wait.
By making you wait, they hope to make you more receptive to easier negotiations for extras. Probably thought you were an easy mark to get as much out of you as possible.
I don't know if nefarious car dealerships do this so much anymore, as years in the past.
Good idea to take with uou just what you plan on spending. I would have been turned off too on the upsell.

Sounds like a good place to avoid or at least go in ready for some intense NAFTA (or whatever it's called now) equivalent levels of negotiation!

Could you post a link to the other review mentioning this Niko? I was unable to find it....

Niko left Innersense the first week of December for another spa in Calgary but I don’t know which one. Does anyone know? She is a sweetheart.
