Oh...I remember that one.

Golden sands eh...brings back memories. It wasn't the girls I didn't like it was the rip off money changers and scammers but I quite enjoyed the place.

I had just come back from LOS and the quality of the girls was undoubtedly far superior.

The first few nights we took girls back to our hotel and the sex was just mechanical..nothing more. Not much GFE at all.

Until I was taken to a local brothel by one of the bar owners at the Hotel. The girl I took was clingy and gave a great GFE.

These two big Guys also took me and my Mates a night into Varna and took about a dozen girls and told us to take our pick!

But yes...they are all controlled by the Mafia and are scared shitless.

Looking back it was a hit n miss holiday but they did rip me off (money changing) and change in drinks (my friends)

Sex every night but too be honest the Karaoke was more fun.

Good honest report. Bulgaria is probably best avoided. Most are in England now anyway.

You make a fair point,it is indeed impossible to compare a resort in Eastern Europe with one in South East Asia. Its a bit like continually visiting Thailand and complaining that Ukranian girls are prettier

Golden Sands does not really need mongers, they make up a minute percentage of the overall number of tourists ----unlike Pattaya which relies heavily on the monger community.
I do agree that they will fuck things up if they think they can charge Spanish prices and still get busy, there are far too many other choices for Brits, the main attraction of Bulgaria was the good value for money, sadly that is no longer the case, I could almost smell the greed of the Bulgarians.

You can't compare the two, it is like me asking you which is the best car, a Mercedes or a Trabant.
In my opinion what fucks up Golden Sands is the fact that the prostitutes are controlled by pimps which means that there is no doing deals, no negotiating, 150 Lv is the "going rate", take it or leave it.
I took a gamble and came unstuck, no big deal really, I had a nice lazy week and plenty of booze.

last year a beer was 2-3 lev,now 5.last year a hooker was 100 lev now 150.and this is before they join the euro,that will add at least another 20-30%,who the fuck is going to pay these prices,most brits are struggling to pay their morgages never mind having holidays and paying these prices in a country that made its name through being cheap.the bulgarians will fuck it up for themselves.

I have never questioned the value for money that Thailand offers, no one could dispute that, I simply question the "quality" of many of the girls in the P4P market, to put it bluntly most of them are as ugly as sin.

I disagree, nothing new there. My reports tell the newbies that LOS is not ALWAYS the paradise that some of you guys would have them believe. I can just imagine the response they would get if they started to look for girls on Sukhumvit for 500 baht -----or that they are guaranteed three hours for short time, some of the guys on here have a wonderful imagination.

The point both KP and I were making was that your reports from Thailand were from a jaded perspective and hopefully this experience will restore some balance. The Jimmy red cab blogs may not be spiced up but they are as relevant to most newbies as a refridgerator to an Eskimo. Your Golden Sands report is seen through the eyes of a newbie and is therefore far more realistic and relevant to those wishing to visit the destination in question.
