But based on these first steps on the article, I can see spas being closed soon.

In all honesty if there ever was a spread from a SPA does any one actually think they the SPA owner, MPAs and or clients would be truthful about it? This isn't like the strip club. Everyone would keep their mouths shut and be sick in private.

LOL... I am well prepared and adaptable to any circumstances. I am more worried about you baby.

You're right. I don't like wearing masks but I do it anyway because it's a compromise I'm willing to make in exchange for being able to patronize my favourite businesses. The city never mentions the allowed red light businesses. Mentioning it publicly would have a bigger impact. I'm sure they will close in due time.. Why would they be an exception? Just my 2cents..

Because there haven't been any reported cases yet. They were mandated to set social distancing ground rules before reopening last June as a safety measure. If they've been following protocol and there haven't been any outbreaks YET, why should they shut down? Same goes for any other business out there following the rules and not having any cases as of now.

I heard adult entertainment, strip clubs closed as of midnight and bars and alcohol with limited time till 11pm.
Spas and salons are not adult entertainment. Sorry, me no English .

Why do you see spas being closed soon? The affected businesses were places of larger gatherings and higher risk.

Unless there are cases in spas, they will likely be classed in the same category as RMT’s, nail salons, hair salons, etc.

They may be closed later on as there have been some nail/hair salons which have reported cases. And since the spas are in the same category (based on reopening stage) im assuming that as cases increase and reported cases at hair/nail they may be closed.

Are you just guessing this? Have you studied the epidemiology to see if this is the logical next course of action? If cases are increasing in schools what good will shutting down nail salons do? If cases increased because of weddings, bbq’s and large gathering at the bar, what good will shutting down barbers do?

shutting down businesses will mean more people needing assistance. The government won’t do that unless necessary. This looks like a new surgical approach to containment and not a blanket shotgun approach to avoid wider economic setbacks.
